Crowd Control Experts does our best to ensure your order reaches you safely. There are, however, unforeseeable circumstances when it comes to package handling and damage in transit. Because of this potential for damage, be sure to inspect your order fully before signing for it. When you sign for your order, you are legally signing a document that states you have fully inspected the item and found it to be in good condition. Advise your family, employees or others who may be in a position to sign for the order that they too must thoroughly inspect every item before signing.
Keep in mind that packaging that may appear to be in good condition but may not be an indication of the condition of the contents inside. Fully unpack each item, inspect all of its components and review that all of your items are in good condition. Your signature is a legal statement indicating you have inspected your items and determined them to be in good condition. If you are in a rush or a position in which you cannot perform a thorough inspection of each item, sign the receipt as “uninspected” rather than using your signature. If you notice any damage while unpacking later on, you are to file a claim with the freight company. Crowd Control Experts will have no responsibility once the item is signed for.
Items may be damaged in transit. Note any damage to boxes and packaging on the delivery receipt before applying your signature. Contact our customer service representatives for additional assistance with readily apparent or hidden damages. We will arrange to replace your damaged products and contact the shipper to have them inspect the damaged items. Report damages as soon as possible. In order for your claims to be accepted, reporting must occur no later than 3 days from the original receipt.
Refunds, Returns and Cancellations
Contact our customer service representatives regarding any returns. You will receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Orders returned without an RA# may experience processing delays. For a full credit or cash refund, returns must be made within 7 days of receipt and are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Defective items will be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. If you would like to return a product for reasons other than damage, stanchions and other crowd management equipment must be returned in new and resalable condition. Items must be returned in their original packaging.
Be advised, custom ropes are subject to our discretion and may not be eligible for return. You, the buyer, are responsible for all freight costs. Returns should be sent back pre-paid and insured. Save your shipper’s track numbers to maintain records of your package’s return to our factory.
The risk of loss and title for all items purchased from Crowd Control Experts passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
